Rehab for Worn-down Teeth

Veneers

This patient had disproportionately larger front teeth and gaps along all 6 upper front teeth. Veneers help to reshape teeth to the correct proportions as well as help close spaces. A total of 8 veneers were done on the uppers to get the perfect smile. He later said we “Changed his life!!”

This patient wanted to straighten his front teeth and close the small open bite that he had. A set of 6 veneers were done for the front teeth to straighten and close the front open bite. Group function/guidance was kept in this case. The results were incredible and imperceivable from natural teeth.

In this case, my patient knew his smile needed improvement. As he described it, his teeth left a gap when he smiled. Overall, his teeth were somewhat short, and they tilted inward. With minimal preparations, I added veneers that lengthened his front 8 teeth to the correct height/width and proclined them to remove the ‘inward’ look.
Bridges

Traditional Crown and Bridge restorations have a long history of restoring function to broken down and lost teeth. Today, Zirconia material allows us to place metal-free restorations that function in a high capacity as well as allow us to prevent the ‘dark lines’ that previous restorations showed.
Implants
Orthodontics

This patient presented with a prominent overbite and a retruded bite (Class II) of approximately 4mm. Instead of multiple months of wearing rubber bands and trying to correct the overbite and retruded bite, I opted for Motion 3D appliances , also known as Carriere Class II Appliances (see progress pic), which took only 3 months to correct the bite. Motion 3D appliances also allow us to move forward without having to consider extractions to correct the bite. This patient achieved a Class I bite and an ideal overbite in approximately 11 months.

This common occurrence of a canine that did not fully erupt, what some mistakenly call an ‘Impacted canine” is easily treated with Orthodontics. Sometimes, the canine does not erupt out of the gums, and Orthodontics deals with that as well.

Case 1: Class II Div 2
This patient was a classic Class II Div 2 case that was treated non-extraction. The case was concluded with elastics, and resulted in a beautiful smile.
Combination Cases

This patient case was a combination of Orthodontics, Implants, and finally Veneers and Implant crowns. Orthodontics was used to create the natural space of two missing front teeth. Two implants were placed at the time orthodontics finished. And finally, porcelain restorations (veneers and crowns) were done to complete the smile. The patient said “This was the smile he always dreamed of”
Full Mouth Reconstruction

Treatment for this patient warranted a full mouth reconstruction. The popular All-on-4 option refers to Full Arch Bridges that are restored onto a set of 4 implants. Here, the patient opted for All-On-8 restorations because the greater number of implants ensures the strength and the longevity of such a restoration. The restorations are Full Arch Zirconia Bridges that have excellent durability.
Invisalign

I wanted to do this Invisalign correction for this patient for years, and he finally decided to do it. The case turned out great, correcting the overbite as well as the crowding in less than a year.

Great Invisalign case that required 17 Aligners and 3 C-Chain aligners to finish. Patient was very cooperative with Aligner use, and this case finished in the approximate time required. Patient was very happy with the results and is currently 2 years post-treatment.
Teeth Whitening

This whitening was on this patient who had just finished orthodontics. Most orthodontic patients find their teeth have stained after Invisalign or Braces and decide to finish their treatment by taking the final step and whitening their teeth. Of course, this procedure applies to all who have stained teeth and want to reach an esthetic goal such as this.
Deep Bleaching

This patient presents with deep staining as a result of using Tetracycline antibiotics in childhood. The process of Deep Bleaching is a slightly more lengthy method of removing stains from the interior of the tooth. While the process is slightly longer than regular Teeth Whitening, the results are just as nice, and a viable option for anyone who has been told they can’t whiten their teeth (regardless of what caused the staining).
Amelogenesis Imperfecta

In this presentation, this young man was evaluated at an early age (about nine), and proactive treatment was done, such as resin protective veneers, until he was at the correct age, with all the adult teeth having come in. At this point, I restored all teeth with Zirconia BruxZir crowns and the height of occlusion was restored at the same time. These restorations returned his teeth to full function without any more sensitivities.
